Vera Farris was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee and started practicing art at a very young age following in the footsteps of her grandfather, Daniel K. Teis and aunt Kyra Teis.

Vera graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design and currently practices commercial interior design in Atlanta, Georgia at  ASD.  She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and serves on the Commercial P.R. Committee.
